– featured in the US Minneapolis-based «Viking Magazine» – its April 2020 issue. The magazine is published by «Sons of Norway», an organization which in 2020 marked its 125th anniversary. The article seeks information regarding a «scrapbook» which belonged to the Norwegian missionary and artist Hans Christian Knudsen (1816–1863) and contained between 50 and 60 miniature watercolors. In the course of 1942 the scrapbook came into the possession of Anna Lynch — a studio owner in Chicago —and under rather unique circumstances, but it subsequently again disappeared following her sudden passing in early 1946. Since then, all efforts to locate this scrapbook have proven unsuccessful. At the bottom of this page — below the article — you can see the magazine’s cover and table of contents.
